If you are on long term medication you will be issued with a repeat prescription form which enables you to obtain your medication without seeing a doctor.
Please allow 4 working days for dispensed medication.
Please allow 3 working days for paper prescriptions.
Please note the practice is not open on weekends or bank holidays so are not working days.
This is to allow time to order your medication as some items may take a couple of days to come in. All requests must be in writing.
You can order your medication in one of the following ways:
- In person: drop a written request into the surgery or dispensary.
- By post: Send to us complete with SAE if you wish for us to post back to you
- Email / email@example.com
- On line / follow the link at the top of this page (registration required)
Please note that repeat prescription requests cannot be taken over the telephone.
Patients on repeat medication maybe asked to see the GP for a review. Please check the back of your repeat slip for any messages from the dispensary regarding your medication. You may need to see the GP or Nurse before further medication can be issued.
We are now offering a managed repeats service where you can leave your slip ready with us for next month providing you know what you’ll need for the following month.
Please speak to a member of the dispensary team who will be happy to give advice & support in obtaining this service. A doctor will be informed to assess suitability of the patient for this service to ensure the right care is provided.
